Paris, France, March 30, 2020 - International Assistance Group (IAG)'s Core Partner for the US, On Call International, has successfully accredited its medical escort division, Rescue Nurse Services, within the network in a move to enhance its profile globally.

With CAMTS (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems) in the US and globally already under its belt, Rescue Nurse’s capability extends beyond the Americas with strategically placed nurses in Asia and Australia/ New Zealand. With many commercial airlines unable to provide medical oxygen, all Nurses are equipped with aviation certified Portable Oxygen Contractors as part of their comprehensive medical bags.


Recently returning from an IAG audit assignment in Peru, Rescue Nurse’s Director of Clinical Transport, Gaby Hosea stated: “I am delighted that we have gained Accredited Service Provider status within the IAG. As nurses working in a travelling and international environment, we are a rare breed of passionate problem solvers always looking to be actively called upon to help people, with the utmost professionalism.”


Rescue Nurse’s team need to satisfy some stringent criteria. Apart from being registered in the US, a minimum of five years experience is needed in areas such as emergency or critical care, transport or operating room environments, and to hold certifications in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Extensive travel experience, calm self-reliance and international languages are essential factors too.
