Paris, France, November 9, 2020 - Following a decision made to advance an approach to Corporate Social Responsibility, an external audit and review certified the International Assistance Group for Label LUCIE 26000 on October 29th, 2020.

The award demonstrates the International Assistance Group’s commitment to a structured and open approach with stakeholders such as customers, employees, partner and provider organisations, keeping to the principles of sustainable development. Furthermore, to an auditable plan of continuous improvement.

The Label LUCIE is France’s reference point for the international standard in social responsibility, ISO 26000. The external audit was conducted by a specialist audit company, RSEVAL, around seven central themes:

  • Responsible governance and transparency
  • Respect for individuals
  • Quality of life at work
  • Protection of the environment
  • Protection of ethical practices
  • Responsible products and services
  • Community involvement and development

The evaluation report was submitted to an independent committee of experts who rigorously examined the International Assistance Group’s plans and undertakings over the next three years.

‘It is not easy to differentiate between those who only speak about CSR and those that have a real and serious commitment. It is now possible with LUCIE,’ stated Alan Fustec, President of the LUCIE Label.

‘This achievement marks an important step for our alliance of independent organisations across the globe. While delivering quality services at critical times of need is our foundation, to do so ethically and sustainably is equally important,’ commented Louise Heywood, the International Assistance Group’s General Manager.
